Inspiration for Alec

Firstly I should say that this story is completely fictional. The 'Order of Gentleman' does not exist nor does it resemble any known organisation in the real world. All of the characters therein are also created by my muse for the sole purpose to entertain. Any likeness to real people, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

With that out of the way I can tell you the story of the story.

Alec's world was born one Sunday afternoon when I needed a break from a piece I was working on for submission. The muse was tired and my head was foggy. I've read some slave fic and some BDSM but no one story had everything I was looking for. It was thinking on my perfect idea for a slave fic that allowed the daydream that is Alec Caldwell to begin.

I'd whiled away a few hours and drifted through many of the scenes you read here before I decided this was a story that should be told.

Why not submit it for publication?
It was the stress of preparing for a submission that led to the creation of this world - a stress free zone for writing (if such a thing exists). I want to keep this little island of writing for writings sake. No plots or themes or secondary twists to be concerned about, just open writing that lets the muse run wild.

There's no major story arch, just a cast of characters getting on with life. A soap opera of erotica. This is my platform on which to exercise the writing muscles and practise the art of writing. It isn't perfect. Sometimes a scene doesn't play quite right, sometimes inconsistencies show up, sometimes the sex is similar to a scene a week ago. But hopefully, it's entertaining, sharp and with any luck shows good character development.

Offering a free read doesn't mean offering a substandard piece of writing but it does mean I get to break a few rules in order to experience why there are rules in the first place.

I hope you love Alec and his friends as much as I do. I'm happy to consider requests if you'd like to see him get up to something. I won't promise to action all ideas, particularly if it flows against the path I have for my boy. But it will be fun to hear where you see him heading.
