3.1 Always Expect the Unexpected.

The Rise of Alec Caldwell is a serial read. To start at the beginning please go to the archive to the left of the page.
You’ll find Volume One, The Beginning, hiding under May 2011.
Lazy Sunday mornings at Hamilton’s. Alec loved them. He’d checked in with Sebastian and Brad at home. They were happy to amuse themselves for the day and to keep Dylan, still hiding from Brendon’s pouting, for company.  Alec translated that to mean they were enjoying the opportunity for a Master-less fuck fest. Brendon fussed in the kitchen and Alec lounged in his favourite place, naked over Hamilton on the sofa.
“We should change these bands,” said Hamilton, thumbing the one at Alec’s left wrist.
“Why?”
“They’re too thick for your new position at work. You need something that isn’t so obvious to those in the know.”
“Yeah, even my fourteen year old sister told my mum I was a sex slave.”
“I would suggest to your mother that she limit your sister’s internet access,” Hamilton said with a wry smile. “Seriously though, it could make life difficult for you.”
“I didn’t have any problems at the Davenports.”
“I know, but gentleman are always more relaxed away from the City.”
Alec kissed Hamilton’s hand. “Whatever you think is best, Master.”
“I have an idea of what I’d like for you. I’m sure Maurice will be able to have them in time for Harrison’s party if it isn’t in stock.”
“Do you want to go today?”
“Would you mind?”
Alec put Hamilton’s hand on his cock and took up a gyrating movement. “I can think of other things to do but I don’t want you worrying about it.”
“I will worry. I’m sorry to eat into our time together.”
“Rick, we’ll be shopping together.”
Hamilton smiled. It sent a ripple of need through Alec and he pushed his hips towards Hamilton’s hand still resting on his cock.
“Go and get dressed then.”
Alec stood and headed for the bedroom. He looked back and puffed out his ass. “Sure you don’t want to fuck me first?”
“You little tease.” Hamilton dived after him and they soon tumbled into a cocophany of moans and gasps that settled, if not sated, Alec’s hunger.
***

The station was surprisingly busy for a Sunday. Taking in the crowd on the platform, Alec guessed a good percentage were tourists or people visiting the City for the weekend. He attempted a spot of people watching but he lacked focus. Alec felt sleepy after his unscheduled morning fuck and thoughts weren’t staying long enough in his mind to develop interesting stories.
His belly was full of Brendon’s exquisite cooking and for the moment, the rumble in his body for sex had quieted. He let the thoughts of those around him fall away. There was only one person of any importance today. Stepping in close behind Hamilton, Alec wrapped his arms around Hamilton’s waist and rested his chin on Hamilton’s shoulder. A contented sigh slipped out.
“You’ve spent too much time with Sebastian,” Hamilton said, turning to kiss Alec’s cheek.
“No, I just need to hold you.” Alec kissed Hamilton’s neck and squeezed a little. “You make me happy. My life was rubbish before you.”
Hamilton turned in his arms and kissed him. Passionately. With full tongue. On the fucking platform waiting for the tube. On a Sunday afternoon. Alec stepped back a few paces and leaned against the wall, letting Hamilton crush against his body. Never before in public like this.
The rush of wind announcing the approaching tube roused Hamilton and he broke away leaving Alec staring open-mouthed after him.
“You’ll miss it.” Hamilton winked as he stepped toward the train.
***

The bell tinkled as they entered the shop. There were two men in the far corner near the back room where Marcus had fucked Sebastian, looking at chains. A couple near the dildos, the woman’s clothes folded neatly at her feet, and a soft grunting coming from the dressing rooms.  Business as usual. Alec browsed over a nearby rack of rubber shorts and remembered his first pair, skimpy and white, with a smile. Maurice appeared a moment later looking a little flushed.
“Oh, wonderful to see you. Alec, you’re positively glowing.”
“Thank you, Maurice.”
“How is Sebastian?”
“Very well, thank you. I have a new boy I’ll be bringing in for bands this week.”
“Wonderful, wonderful. And you sir, you’re looking very well. How are Dylan and Brendon?”
“Defiant,” Hamilton smiled.
“Oh, you tease. They’re wonderful boys. What can I do for you today?”
“We’re looking to change Alec’s bands. Something lighter. I was thinking of a fine chain and instead of bracelets, a ring.”
Alec’s breathe caught in his chest. Hamilton wanted to buy him a ring.
“Oh, how wonderful.” Maurice clapped his hands. “I have just the thing.”
“A ring?” Alec whispered, as Maurice disappeared.
“You don’t like the idea?”
“I…it’s just…” Alec’s thoughts stalled.
Hamilton took hold of Alec’s left hand. Alec couldn’t hide the light trembling that had taken up over his body. A knot formed in his chest. A sea of uncertainty and excitement swelled in his stomach.
“I want you to wear it here.” Hamilton stroked over Alec’s wedding finger. “To remind you of me. If you want.”
A ringing noise started in Alec’s ears. “Rick, what are you saying?”
“I’m saying that I want people to know you’re spoken for long term. Not as property, Alec, you’re my lover. My partner.” He traced Alec’s finger again, stroking his palm at the same time. “You have my heart, Alec. I’d make it official if I could. I want you to know how much you mean to me.”
“So it’s…” Fuck, fuck, fuck. “…an engagement ring?”
“If you’ll have it.” Hamilton’s voice was so quiet, unsure for the first time in Alec’s memory. “If you’ll have me. I can’t lose you. Ever.”
Fuckity, fuck, fuck.
Alec couldn’t say anything, just gaped and struggled to breathe. Hamilton patted his hand and let it drop. “You don’t have to tell me now. We’ll get the chain today.”
“Shut up.”
“I beg your pardon?”
Alec grabbed Hamilton off his feet and hugged. “You stupid man. Of course I’ll wear it. Of course, I’ll have you.”
“Alec, I can’t breathe. Put me down.”
“No. I don’t have to, ever again. You’re mine.”
Hamilton tried to wriggle free. “I think we’ve known that for a while.”
“I didn’t. I hoped, but it wasn’t real. This makes it real and everyone will know.” Alec dropped Hamilton on his feet and fell to his knees, wrapping his arms around Hamilton’s waist and nuzzling against his stomach. “I love you. God, I love you. I think I’m going to cry.”
“Alec, darling.” Hamilton stroked Alec’s hair and a tear escaped, streaking over his cheek.
“Oh, how sweet,” Maurice cooed, as he appeared with several boxes. “I’ve found just the thing.”
“Alec, sweetheart, stand up.”
Alec shook his head. He couldn’t. This couldn’t be real. Too many emotions crowded for attention and Alec felt dizzy. He tried to follow a logical path through the words Hamilton had said but he couldn’t find one. Hamilton had claimed him before, why did this feel different? It was different, wasn’t it? Not as property – as a lover, a partner. That’s what Hamilton had said. A partner. A fiancĂ©? That would one day be… a husband? Living together, just the two of them. Every day of every week and into forever. Alec swayed on his knees.
“I’ll get him a chair.” Maurice was back a moment later and Hamilton helped Alec off his knees and sat him down.
“Are you okay, Alec? You look pale.”
The room started to spin and Hamilton’s voice seemed to be getting farther away. Alec closed his eyes to try to focus. When he opened them again, he was lying on the floor with his legs on the seat of the chair.
“What on earth?” He tried to sit up but a strong hand pinned him to the floor.
“Just lie there for a moment.” Alec looked up into a stranger’s face. A stethoscope pressed against his chest. “I think he’s fine,” the stranger said. Alec followed the man’s line of sight to a worried looking Hamilton. “Just overwhelmed. Make an appointment for him to have a medical.” A blood pressure cuff Alec hadn’t realised he’d been wearing was removed from his arm.
“What happened?” Alec asked nobody in particular.
“You fainted.” The stranger smiled at him and brushed his hair away from his forehead. “It was lucky Maurice caught you or you’d have a hell of a headache.”
“Thank you, Maurice. Can I get up now?”
“Just swing your legs down and sit slowly. Don’t try to stand.” Alec looked at the guy. Not a paramedic. He’d been in the shop. He smiled at Alec again. “I’m a GP. I had the kit in the car just outside.”
“Am I okay? I feel okay.”
“Stressed? Exhausted perhaps, you’ve got some impressive bags under your eyes.”
“Haven’t had much sleep lately.” Alec smiled, looking directly at Hamilton.
“Don’t blame me. You’ve been away all week.”
“Well, congratulations anyway,” the man said.
“Sorry?”
He helped Alec sit up. “On your engagement.”
Alec felt his face flush and he reached for Hamilton’s hand. “Thank you.” Engagement. Fucking hells bells. He’d just got back from introducing his parents to Sebastian and now he was engaged to another man. Alec blinked a few times trying to clear the vision of his mother forcing Hamilton to eat biscuits and drink tea from a mug.
“Okay, do you want to try for this chair again?” the GP said, gripping Alec’s arm.
They helped Alec to his feet and sat him on the chair. “I feel okay now. It was just the shock of it.” Alec reached for Hamilton’s hand and looked up into the perfect blue eyes that still looked so worried. “You should have told me before we came.”
“I wasn’t sure I could go through with it,” Hamilton said. “But after what you said on the way here…”
“How could you think I wouldn’t want to?”
“You’re a young man, Alec.”
“So are you.”
“Exactly. We’re both young men, maybe too young. I don’t know. Everything’s messed up with you.”
“That’s how I feel with you.”
“And that’s love,” the doctor said. “Pure and simple. It doesn’t make sense, confusing as hell and you have to take it a day at a time. Sounds to me like you’ll be very happy.”
With that, Maurice opened a small ring box and held it out to Alec. “What do you think of this one?”
Alec looked up at Hamilton. He wasn’t sure what he was searching for. Some sign that this wasn’t all an elaborate dream, a trick his mind was playing on him after the Patrick fiasco.
“Do you like it?” Hamilton asked.
Alec took a proper look at the open box. The gold band was slightly thicker at the front at about half a centimetre. He picked it up. Embedded into the band was a rectangular cushion cut diamond. A large cushion cut diamond, almost as deep as the band itself and about half a centimetre wide.
“Rick, it’s incredible. I don’t know what to say.”
“Try it on.”
Alec handed the ring to Hamilton and smiled as he slipped it onto Alec’s finger. It was a little loose. A rush of emotion washed over Alec as he looked down at his hand sporting the diamond. He’d never thought of himself as sensitive or girlie, but right now, he could happily skip through flowery meadows singing along with fat little birds that circled his shoulders.
“I’m going to cry again,” Alec said, grabbing at Hamilton’s hand and wrapping his other arm around Hamilton’s waist.”
“My sweet boy.” Hamilton squeezed Alec just a little.
“What am I going to tell Sebastian? He’ll be so upset.”
“I’m sure he’ll settle. It’s not as if he’s losing you.”
And it wasn’t as though Alec could tell Hamilton about the plan to elope in a few years. That wouldn’t happen now. Or would it? Hamilton did say it wasn’t official, couldn’t be. Maybe he would still tire of Alec after a few years. Until then Alec would wear his ring and be happy for every day.
Alec smiled through the tears threatening to fall. “I love it.”
“I’ll have it altered for you,” Maurice said. “Make it a little smaller.”
“And an engraving, Maurice. My surname on the inside.”
“Of course, sir.”
Alec’s thoughts faltered. No loving message or anniversary date. A brand. A seal of ownership. Just a fancy slave band after all. But for what purpose? To keep Alec loyal and less likely to fuck around, perhaps? Did he care? No. None of that mattered. From the last week’s experience, Alec already knew he was unlikely to keep up his open ass policy. And besides, it was still a ring to wear on that finger.
Maurice produced another box, long this time. A fine two-tone omega chain, completely smooth, lay inside. It looked short enough to be visible in an open collar.
“Perfect again, Maurice,” Hamilton said. He reached around to remove Alec’s choker and bracelets and Alec resisted the urge to hold on to them. Too many lines were blurring in Alec’s mind. The bands carried a set of rules, a code. Where would he be without them?
Taking the new chain, Hamilton stepped behind Alec and placed it around his neck. “I think this is much more suitable,” he said, kissing Alec’s neck.
Alec could barely hear his own voice. The overwhelming elation had passed and Alec’s mood was crashing with great force. “Thank you.”
“Given Alec’s current condition, I think we’ll have to forgo the usual service reward Maurice. I should get him home. Perhaps a taxi would be appropriate?”
“I’ll call one for you now, sir.”
Service. Something Alec recognised but accompanied by a feeling in Alec’s gut that he didn’t. Lover, partner, yet still given out in service. Definitely new boundaries that needed to be reconciled in Alec’s head. Hamilton’s worldview was so fucked up it followed his ideas of engagement, marriage, and partnership would be too. Maybe it was Alec that was out of touch, holding too tight to his parents’ ideas of the sanctity of marriage. Oh, god. Alec baulked at the thought. Was he really stupid enough to think a ring equalled monogamy? From a man like Hamilton? Alec wasn’t sure he wanted that for himself. He certainly didn’t want to give up Sebastian. Or Brad. Or Harrison. Alec felt sick. Everything was messed up again and after such a fulfilling morning.
Hamilton wandered off to chat to the doctor whilst Alec sat, still a little stunned by the proceedings. He fingered the new band at his neck. It looked like an ordinary chain that anyone would wear. An expensive chain admittedly. Nothing in the shop ever had price tags. But even those who were aware of what his other bands had meant wouldn’t think twice about this one. Alec realised he felt naked without the heavy chain and his bracelets.
And a diamond. To wear on his wedding finger. No wonder he was light headed. But there was another conversation to be had before he put that ring on his finger for good. He needed to own up to Hamilton, be honest about how many people had fucked him and who. He’d have to speak to Harrison.
“Are you okay, darling?”
Alec smiled up at Hamilton. “I’m great. Should I thank the doctor?”
“Not today. I’ve invited him to the apartment for a light supper on Tuesday. If you’re still unwell, Brendon will service him.”
“Thank you, Master. Just, so much happening.”
“I know. And I did give you a fright with Patrick. I’m sorry it upset you so.”
“I needed it. It’s brought me to a good place.” A good place threatened by uncertainty right now.
“I hope I’m there with you.”
Alec reached for Hamilton’s hand. “You are.”
“I think you should take tomorrow off. Have some tests and rest up. I’ve been working you too hard.”
“But I move upstairs tomorrow.”
“It can wait. We’ll announce it anyway. You can supervise the movers with Sebastian. Bradley can stay home with you as well.”
“And you, can you stay with me?” I so need you to stay with me right now.
“Tonight.” Hamilton kissed Alec’s forehead. “I’ll stay with you tonight.”
Alec ran a finger over his naked wrist, trying to fight the lead in his stomach. It was all for show. Nothing had really changed. He’d still service the doctor and Maurice. He’d still have to live in his own house, with his own boys. Stupid dreams. They always had a way of misrepresenting reality, even when they sort of came true.
“Alec?”
He looked up and smiled. “I’m okay, really.”
When the taxi pulled up, the doctor came to say goodbye. He kissed Alec on the cheek and squeezed his ass. “I look forward to seeing you Tuesday, Alec.”
“Thank you again. I’ll be happy to show my gratitude.”
“I know you will.”
Alec tried to smile but his heart wasn’t in it. He felt cheated somehow. Everything had lost its shine against the backdrop of his weird ass life.

The taxi journey was quiet. Alec leaned his head back and closed his eyes. He was supposed to be deliriously happy. He had been, for all of five minutes.
“Something’s troubling you.”
“Yes,” he said, turning to Hamilton. “I don’t think now is the time to discuss it.”
“As you wish.”
So quickly dismissed. Pushed under the carpet where it wouldn’t notice and everything could be ‘business as usual’. Alec’s new necklace felt tight and his head pounded. A good night’s sleep would set things straight.
***

Alec’s legs were heavy as the door to the apartment closed behind them.
“Go straight to bed Alec. I’ll bring you some tea.”
No celebrations. No calling friends and family. No announcing their purchase to Brendon. Alec didn’t say anything. Just obeyed his orders.
Once Hamilton had stopped fussing, he left Alec alone to phone Sebastian. Alec rang Harrison instead.
“Alec, my boy. Lovely to hear from you.”
“Hey, Edward. I have something I wanted to talk to you about, but Hamilton wants me to stay at home tomorrow.”
“Is everything okay?”
“I passed out today. Stress, I think. He’s buying me a ring, Teddy. Taken off my bands. How can I wear his ring if I don’t tell him about us?”
“He did miss you terribly. He’s been a pain all week. I’ll pick you up tomorrow and take you to Giles. Old friend of the family, excellent doctor. Rest up and we’ll talk then.”
“Thank you.”
“I’ve told you I’ll always take care of you. Everything will be fine.”
Alec couldn’t tell Sebastian about the ring over the phone. He needed to be there in person so Sebastian could see the bittersweet edge to the fairy tale. They had a brief catch up and Alec settled back and closed his eyes. He probably wouldn’t sleep but he couldn’t stand staring at the ceiling anymore. His breathing slowed, the pillows seemed to soften around him and he drifted off to sleep before he had a chance to think things through.

2.1 Life with a Smile

The Rise of Alec Caldwell is a serial read. To start at the beginning please go to the archive to the left of the page.
You’ll find Volume One, The Beginning, hiding under May 2011.

“You seem troubled, Alec. Are you finding your new life boring?”
“No, Master.” Alec curled into Hamilton’s side where they sat on the sofa. Music played softly in the background, Hamilton flicked through a magazine on the iPad and Alec stretched out his legs. He still loved these quiet moments, having Hamilton all to himself. There was a strange contentment that settled over him amidst the nakedness and compliance. “I’m happy here.”
Hamilton squeezed his shoulder gently. “But are you happy with me?”
“You make me feel safe. Nobody can hurt me when you’re here.”
Hamilton stopped running his fingers through Alec’s hair. Shit, Alec had slipped up and he knew it. He hadn’t told Hamilton about his run in with Henry. Alec had been half expecting another inopportune meeting in a dark alleyway where Brian the gorilla did hold him down. It kept him awake some nights and now his ass was going to end up raw for not telling Hamilton sooner.
“Somebody tried to hurt you?”
“No, Master.”
“Alec, do I have to remind you what will happen if you lie to me?”
“I bumped into Henry last week. It just unsettled me.”
“Did he touch you?”
Alec shook his head. “I was at the shop with Sebastian buying cuffs.”
“But did he touch you, physically?”
“Only a bit.” Alec could feel Hamilton’s temper fraying.
“On your knees, Alec, right here.” Hamilton pointed to the floor in front of him and Alec scrambled to sit at his feet. He looked up into Hamilton’s face. Definitely pissed off. “You will tell me exactly what happened. Every word and every touch, do you understand?”
“Yes, Master. I’m sorry I didn’t mention it before.”
“Don’t be sorry, Alec. Put it right. The whole story.”
Alec spared no details. Hamilton asked him three times to confirm that Henry hadn’t slipped a finger inside. “I’d tell you if he did. Please, Master, I don’t want anymore trouble, don’t tell Harrison.”
“It’s my job to protect you.”
“Henry might not be as restrained next time if he has to pay another fine. He gives me the creeps. I think he really would fuck me if he thought he could get away with it.”
“That’s exactly why I have to remind him that he can’t, and never will, because you tell me everything.”
Damn and blast. It made sense but Alec didn’t like it one bit. “But he’ll be so angry. There has to be another way.”
“You’re really worried about this aren’t you? I can’t believe you didn’t tell me. What do I have to do to make you trust me, Alec?”
“I do trust you. Rick, please, I wasn’t purposefully keeping anything from you. We went to a party after and it slipped my mind. The few times I’ve thought about it, you haven’t been around.”
Hamilton pulled Alec onto his lap. “Okay, don’t get in a tiz about it. I’ll consider what you’ve said but if I can’t think of another way I will deal with it officially.”
“Thank you.” Alec kissed and smiled at the rumble of desire he sensed in Hamilton. The man fucked all the time but Alec was sure there was always something extra for him. Maybe he was naĂŻve or wishful in his thinking, but Hamilton only lost himself in Alec. He was losing himself right now. The wandering of his hands, the hitching of his breath, the caress of his lips over Alec’s neck and shoulders. “I love you, Rick.”
“And you’ve made me love you, Alec. I don’t know how, I just know I’ve never felt this way about anyone. Let me take you to bed.”
“Now you read my mind too,” Alec chuckled.
“I wish I could. You hide more than you realise from me. But let’s not think of that now.”

Boneless heap of mush. Hamilton certainly knew how to press Alec’s buttons for the best orgasms. But there was a part of Alec that wondered how long he had with Hamilton, really. The work situation was less than ideal as far as people not finding out. Tom already knew and that was one too many. “What will happen to us?”
“How do you mean?”
“Chloe’s already pushing me about my personal life. She swears I have a boyfriend. Says she can tell when a man is getting plenty of sex.”
“Don’t you want things to stay as they are?”
“You know I do. What I mean, is the rest of life. I don’t see my parents very often, but they are part of my life. I have a sister too. What do I tell them?”
Hamilton paused his tracing of lazy circles over Alec’s thigh. “You shouldn’t lie to your family.” The movement started again and Alec relaxed a little. “Perhaps telling Chloe about Sebastian will be enough for now. What do you think?”
“Tell her about Sebastian?”
“That he’s your boyfriend. Alec, it’s too complicated for us to be seen as a couple. It’s not that I don’t want people to know, it’s just that the Order has very strict rules that…”
“I’m not good enough for you.”
“That’s not it. There’s a reason why I’m selective about which Order members know you’re my houseboy.”
“But Henry knows.”
“Actually, he doesn’t. If you remember, you were only in training for your office position when he met you.”
“But he’s seen my bands. Who else would I wear them for?”
“That’s true. Maybe I should talk to Harrison. But it will mean a change to the way things are.”
“Why?”
“Conflict of interest. You’ll have to move departments.”
“No.”
“It will just be a case of moving floors.”
“I won’t work for anyone else. If you make me, I’ll leave.”
“Don’t worry about it now. Every time I settle your mind about one thing, something else comes up and I worry about you. You don’t deal with stress well. I have no idea how you made the position you did.”
“I don’t get stressed with work. I get stressed in personal situations. It’s just that those seem to be overlapping at the moment and I short circuit.”
“I know a better way to give you a short circuit.” Hamilton slipped down Alec’s body and licked along the length of his hardening shaft.
“That’s cheating.”
“Then tell me to stop.”
Alec let out a whimper. The tight, wet heat of Hamilton’s throat engulfed his cock and stilted the thought process in his brain. One hell of a short circuit. No complaints.

“I knew you were getting some.” Chloe clapped her hands together and bounced. “Tom, didn’t I tell you he was getting some?” Her smile faded. “You bloody knew, didn’t you? You bastard. No, both of you are bastards for leaving me out.”
“Tom found out by accident. Keep your knickers on. Besides, I don’t want everyone in the office knowing about Sebastian. It’s early days.”
“You’re living with him,” Tom said. “It can’t be that early.”
Alec threw him a filthy look.
“Living with him?” Chloe looked set to slap them both. “How long have you been seeing him. For fucks sake, Alec. You could have said. Why haven’t we met him? And if you tell me Tom has, I will literally thump the pair of you.”
“I haven’t met him. I wanted to but he wouldn’t let me.”
“Is that what was up with you two the other week?”
“Something like that,” Alec answered before Tom could say something stupid.
“Well, I demand that you introduce us. We’ll have a night out. Tom can bring Emma and I’ll bring Josh.”
“Sebastian’s shy. I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“I’m telling you now, Alec…”
Alec’s phone cut her off and he sighed with relief. “Got to take it, sorry. Hey, Marcus, how are you?”
“Alec, I was wondering if we could meet up for a chat?”
“Just us, or the boys as well?”
“All of us, I guess. I do want to see Sebastian again. But really I want to see you.”
“Are you anywhere near Embankment? I can meet you for lunch.”
“That’s great, just tell me where.”
“Do you know Lulivo’s on Viller’s street?”
“I’ll find it. One o’clock?”
“See you then.”
“Who was that?”
“Chloe, you are not my mother. Butt out of my business.”
“Will you tell Sebastian you’re meeting another guy for lunch?”
“Tom, shut her up, before I say something I regret.” Alec marched off and left the two of them squabbling over what was and wasn’t appropriate lines of questioning.
“Alec?”
“Oh, Mr Hamilton,” Alec glanced around the office. Too many people around for a proper conversation. “Did you need me for something?”
Hamilton stepped closer. “You know very well every time I see you I want to bury my cock in your ass.”
Alec couldn’t stop the grin that spread over his face. “That’s very good to know. I’ll be out of the office for lunch today though. I hope that’s okay. It was a short notice thing.”
“See me as soon as you’re back.” Hamilton took a step back and smiled at Sophie as she passed. He made a point of watching her. It was one of the reasons everyone in the office thought Hamilton was straight. He always watched the girls, particularly the ones that carried a little extra weight and wore their hair long. Alec swore a couple of the women had gained a few pounds since they’d started working there in the hope of catching Hamilton’s eye. It occurred to Alec that he’d never asked Hamilton whether he really did fancy them, or if it was just for show.
“You always watch Sophie walk across the office.”
“She has a fantastic ass and calves to die for, why wouldn’t I? Are you jealous?”
“I think I am.”
“You have a fantastic ass too, Alec. But I don’t need to watch yours from a distance because I can fuck it anytime I want.” Hamilton brushed past Alec as he walked away, letting his hand glide over Alec’s crotch. Instant hard on – the bastard. Alec was sure he heard him laugh.

The restaurant was busy, but Marcus already had a table by the time Alec arrived.
“Marcus,” Alec grinned. Damn the guy was sexier than he remembered and in a well fitting suit too. Drop dead gorgeous was the experssion that came to mind. Alec held out his hand and Marcus stood to shake it. He blushed when Marcus leaned in to kiss his cheek and caught a few ladies pouting in his periphery vision.
“Thanks for seeing me at such short notice. You look great. I wasn’t sure if you’d be in a rush so I ordered for us both when I arrived. Chicken and asparagus, I hope that’s okay. Can I get you something other than water to drink?”
Wow, the guy was nervous. “I’ll have a beer, and the food sounds great, thanks. So, what can I do for you?”
The glass Marcus was lifting, stopped half way from the table and he caught Alec’s gaze. Alec blushed again. Definite interest there. It seemed there was no end to the complications Alec could get himself into. The last thing Alec needed was another guy coveting his ass. Marcus carried on to sip his drink before placing it carefully on the table and straightening his napkin.
“Other than let me fuck you, you mean?”
There was a lull in the babble around them and Alec felt the centre of everyone’s lunchtime attention. “Nothing like getting straight to the point, but I’m afraid I’m off limits. I’ll happily fuck you though, if you like.”
The waiter failed to hide his smirk. “Pollo All’ulivo,” he said, placing the dishes on the table. “Anything else I can get you?”
Alec ordered his beer. “Buon appetito,” he grinned. The food looked good and he tucked in.
“You speak Italian?”
“Nope, that was the sum of it right there. Oh, and ciou.”
“Why are you off limits. Don’t you like me?”
“Marcus, you’re fab, really.” Alec shook his wrist and one of his bracelets settled out of his shirt sleeve. “Remember these?”
“You have a Master?”
“I do indeed and his wish is that I’m his alone.”
“But you have Sebastian.”
“Yes, a gift from my Master. I’m a very good boy.” Alec winked and Marcus choked on his asparagus. “Are you okay?”
“Fine.” Marcus reached for his water glass. “So you can fuck anyone but nobody fucks you?”
The waiter blushed. He placed Alec’s beer on the table and made a sharp exit this time. Alec was aware of the ongoing interest in his conversation from a few of the neighbouring tables. He winked at a young woman as she caught his eye and she chuckled to her friend.
“Yup. Did you have anything else you wanted to ask me?”
“Yeah. I’m sorry, I… But you do whatever your Master tells you?”
“Yes, I do. He likes to watch me suck cock but that’s about it. Well, he fucks me in front of other people. I’m quite the exhibitionist you know.”
Alec looked up and chuckled. Poor Marcus, he sat with his mouth open, his eyes slightly glazed. “I’d like to see that.”
The conversation moved on to clubs and parties and general questions on how Alec handled life with Sebastian and life as a slave himself. “I’m not a slave as such. I know there are other people in the scene that see slaves as being different to what I am, even what Sebastian is. My Master calls me his houseboy. It’s more of a service role, entertainment I suppose. Sebastian is a houseboy but he serves in a more general way, with household chores and practical things that I’m rubbish at. To be honest if we were a regular couple Sebastian would still look after the house and me, because he’s so good at it and he loves doing it.”
“Kyle hates things like that. I keep trying to explain to him that what he wants is a bedroom kink, a game between the two of us. Although he does get off on me watching other people fuck him, but usually he chooses who it is.”
“Eveyone’s different, Marcus. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that Master and boy have to find their own rules together. The important thing is that you talk to each other about it. Say what works and what doesn’t. It sounds as though Kyle is making all the rules and expecting you to follow them. Take it in hand now, while you still can. What form of punishment do you use?”
“Puishment?”
“You don’t have one. That’s something you need to discuss. How can Kyle find his way if you don’t give him any boundaries?”
“What punishment do you use?”
“I get swatted with a long paddle if I step over the line and believe me, you don’t want that to happen too often. It hurts like fuck and makes sitting down a very delicate process.”
Alec was temporarily stunned by Marcus’s dazzling smile.
“Is that why you’re a good boy?”
“Hell yes. And as much as I’m loving our chat, I do have to get back and check in or my ass will be toast.”
“Your Master knows you’re here? Do you work with him?”
Shit. “He knows I’m here with you, yes, and I check in every few hours.” Alec waved his phone. “Video calling.” A little white lie to save the day as always. Alec was getting really good at carrying them off.
Marcus called for the bill and insisted on paying. Alec liked the feel of Marcus’s hand against his waist as they left the restaurant. He turned to face him after a few paces along the street. “It was great to see you again, Marcus. Thanks for lunch, and your company.”
Marcus kissed Alec’s cheek and hovered. “I still want you. Maybe I can steal a blowjob sometime?”
Alec chuckled. “Maybe.” He pressed his lips to Marcus’s. “And don’t forget I can take your ass whenever you’re ready.”
Alec stiffened as Marcus pulled him in for some tongue action. Fuck, he was hot but in the middle of the street during the lunch rush?
“Sorry, couldn’t resist. Who knows when I’ll get another chance. Bye, Alec.”
Alec watched Marcus disappear into the crowd. Sexy and strange but a bloody good kisser.

Tom was hovering when Alec arrived back at the office. “How was lunch?”
“Good thanks. I can’t stop. I have an afternoon meeting.”
“Alec?”
Tom looked so sad Alec pulled him into a quiet corner. “What is it, is everything okay with Emma?”
“I miss you. Did you fuck that guy you went to lunch with?”
“Oh, Tom, of course I didn’t. I’m not a complete slut you know. I thought we were straight.”
“Very funny. Perhaps we could go out for a drink one night?”
Alec caved at the touch of Tom’s hand against his hip. “I’d like that, Tom.”
“Really? You can stay over if you like.”
“Call me tonight and we’ll arrange it. It’s difficult to discuss here.”
“Thanks. You off to get your ass pounded?”
“I have a meeting.” But the smile on Alec’s face gave him away.
Tom didn’t say anything, he didn’t need to. He rolled his eyes and waved Alec off. “Go on then, Romeo.”

Alec was surprised to see Lord Merrimont on the sofa in Hamilton’s office. He hadn’t seen the old man since the disasterous blowjob and his near fuck from Wessex months ago. Alec had confidence in his skills this time and was determined not to let a miserable old goat dampen his mood.
“Ah, Alec. Just in time. I was just telling John how well your training is coming along.”
“Thank you, sir.”
“Lock the door, Alec and take off your clothes.”
Not quite what Alec had in mind for the afternoon’s entertainment but he followed his orders and settled happily at Hamilton’s feet once he was naked. The one thing his lunch date had done, was reminded Alec that he had a Master, that he wanted to serve his Master and that he wore the bands to prove it. If his Master wanted him to get on his knees for grumpy old men, he would do it. More than that, he would enjoy every minute of it, knowing that Hamilton was watching.
“Good boy, Alec. Would you like his service, sir?”
“It would be a good time to check that he offers a good standard. Come here, boy. You’ll have to service me sitting.”
“Of course, sir.”
Alec helped the old man find his little cock and set about his work. It was a much better experience for both of them this time around. Alec swallowed down the fruits of his labour and made sure Merrimont’s cock was clean before helping him zip back up.
He was greeted with a smile and a stroke of his cheek once he sat back. “Thank you, Alec. You did very well.”
“Thank you, sir.”
“First class, Hamilton. The boy is a credit to you. I’d like to see you fuck him before I leave, if that’s okay.”
“I’m sure we can manage that. Would you like to prepare him?”
“No, you do it. The young lad doesn’t want my old paws all over him.”
Alec wondered if the guy had undergone a personality transplant since the last time they’d met. He was so vulnerable and sweet this time around. “Sir, if you’d like to, I am more than happy for you to do it.”
“You really mean it, don’t you?”
“Yes, sir. I see no point in lying.”
“Come and bend over then. It’s a long time since I’ve prepared a pucker. Let’s see if I remember how.”
The old man remembered very well. Alec was groaning and rocking back against him. Two fingers, again breaking Hamilton’s rule, but Alec didn’t care. They were skillfull fingers that were accompanied every now and then with the swirl of a tongue that brought Alec almost to his knees. He was so far gone by the time Hamilton slipped inside of him, Hamilton had to hold a hand over his mouth to keep him quiet. What did it matter that the guy was older than Alec’s father? He’d prepared Alec with tender care and what bordered on affection. Topped with the passion from Hamilton, when Alec was given permission to come he was sure he actually saw stars. His cock pumped and pumped and pumped some more. He was vaguely aware of the conversation  as he gathered his thoughts, or at least tried to, they seemed very far away from his sated body right now.
A slap to his ass cheek, brought him round and he smiled at the old man. “Thank you, sir.”
“And thank you. You’re a firecracker that’s for sure and you’ve made an old man very happy.”
“Oh, you made me very happy too.”
Merrimont roared with laughter and slapped Alec’s ass again. “Jolly good show, young man. I hope to see you again.”
Hamilton locked the door after the old man left and patted the sofa for Alec to join him. “You enjoyed that.”
“He’s very good with his hands,” Alec grinned.
“So it seems.”
“He was different today.”
“Yes, he gets very stressed when he’s around Jasper. Dispairs for the younger generation and all that. But I want to tell you, he was only here at my invitiation. I told him about Henry.”
Alec shuddered. “That’s why he wasn’t going to touch me?”
“Possibly, though I don’t recall him having anything other than a blowjob for a very long time so that could be coincidence. He’ll be discreet and it’s outside the usual channels. I haven’t told Harrison and neither will he, but Henry will get his warning.”
“You always know how to take care of me.”
“I try, and hopefully I’m learning.” Hamilton placed a tender kiss to Alec’s temple. “Time to get dressed and head back to the real world. Did your lunch go well?”
Alec started to pull on his shirt. “Very interesting. I told you about Marcus and Kyle, didn’t I?”
“New to the slave scene?”
“That’s it. He’s having trouble understanding how everything works. I don’t know what advice to offer him.”
“I’m happy to meet him, if you think it will help and no, not to fuck him.”
“I haven’t fucked him either, just his boy, Kyle. They’re both gorgeous though.”
“Something for another time then. I’m leaving early today so I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Alec accepted the full on kiss, savouring the taste until his next fix in the morning. “Anything exciting that you’re up to?”
“A party at Harrison’s.”
Alec stalled. A party but he wasn’t invited. “Have a great time.”
“Alec, what’s wrong?”
“You don’t want to take me?”
Hamilton smiled. “I’d love to but it’s very small and no boys. Harrison prefers to provide his own entertainment. Would you rather I stayed home?”
“No, of course not.”
“I will, if you ask me to.”
“I don’t need you to do that. I’m going to have a lovely evening with Sebastian and be completely exhausted by ten o’clock. It’s only fair you go and enjoy yourself.”
“Thank you. You really are a good boy, Alec.”
The idea that Hamilton would consider staying home from an exclusive sex party to keep Alec happy was enough to see him through his afternoon paperwork and last minute meeting with a Service client desperate for a blow job. The guy rambled on about his wife’s digust at the thought of her face anywhere near the lower end of a man’s body, and his insistence that he wasn’t gay but needed to get the release somewhere. Alec smiled afterwards, shook his hand and assured him it was all strictly confidential, and to call in anytime he was passing, which the guy did anyway, with increasing frequency. Alec made a mental note to check whether there was a limit to the number of blowjobs his clients could claim from him during a contract. If there was, this particular guy would be pushing the upper limit for sure.
